 It is not so challenging to find affordable universities in Europe to study medical courses such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and dentistry, including other related medical courses. A lot of students wish to pursue their education in foreign countries and these countries include European countries. In addition, the courses a number of these students try to pursue in foreign countries are in the medical line and they focus their search on the cheap or most affordable universities. 

In this article, I will show you various cheap and affordable universities in Europe to study Medical courses, including other necessary information about these universities.

Cheap/Most Affordable Universities in Europe

1) Country: Iceland

University: University of Iceland

The University of Iceland is a leading Icelandic University and a public research university in Reykjavík, Iceland. It was founded in 1911 with research being conducted in Medicine, natural sciences, social sciences, etc. Its campus is concentrated around Suᵭurgata street in central Reykjavík, with additional facilities located in nearby areas, including the countryside. It is one of the most affordable universities in Iceland.

Course: Medicine, Nursing

Tuition Fee: No tuition fee but requires a registration fee of ISK 75,000 (approx. USD520) but may be higher for non-EU/EEA students.

2) Country: Netherlands

University: University of Groningen

This University is located in Netherlands. It offers English-language nursing program called Nursing Studies at the Faculty of Medical Sciences. You may decide to apply for either a Bachelors or Masters’ degree in nursing studies.

University: Université Libre de Bruxelles

This university is a free-education university established in the year 1834. Although it started as bilingual (Dutch & French), the university has become predominantly French-speaking. This university is considered to be the cheapest university in Belgium for international students.

The University of Wroclaw is among the largest Universities located in the Central-European region, having over 25,000 students. University: Virje Universiteit Amsterdam (Free University of Amsterdam)

The Virje Universiteit Amsterdam also known as VU Amsterdam is a public research university in Amsterdam, Netherlands found in 1880. It is located on a compact urban campus in the southern Buitenveldert neighbourhood of Amsterdam and adjacent to the modern Zuidas business district. Despite being founded as a private institution, this university has received government funding on a parity basis with public universities since 1970.

It is very cheap with very affordable tuition fees and currently has a student enrolment of over 6500 students.

Higher school of medicine, Sosnowiec is a non-public university with very affordable fees for various medical courses such as pharmacy, medicine, nursing, etc. Courses in the university are taught by academic teachers with extensive professional and scientific experience as well as practitioners (Doctors & Nurses). This university offers a high-quality education with scholarship programs and programs include practical training.
